8x cups & 8x matching saucers from Danish ceramic design studio Desiree THULE. Vintage, from the 1960's, fully marked, in incredible condition. A Danish Modern classic. The Desiree THULE studio was established in 1964 under the direction of H.C. Torbol who previously held the position of Production Manager at Bing & Grondahl. THULE is their stand out design, inspired by nature & hand-decorated tableware depicting rust-brown slopes, icy green waters, saga and Eskimo signs were utilised as inspiration. This design is subjected to a unique burning process that ensures durability & makes these pieces equally beautiful as they are functional.
