Ralph Lauren RLX Jacket Functional jacket from Ralph Lauren’s higher tier sportswear sub-label known as “RLX”. This jacket is in a beautiful red and black color blocking. It has two main pockets at the front, a slightly slanted chest pocket, and a smaller pocket on the right arm. Every pocket on the outside have waterproof zippers. The zipper for the pocket on the arm even has “RLX Performance/Technology” printed on it. The same style of waterproof zippers has been used for the jacket’s main dual front zipper. Most of the zippers on the outside have “RLX” branded pull tabs. On the inside, the jacket has a mostly grey interior, two zipped pockets and ventilation under each armpit that is hidden by flaps from the outside. The jacket also has a storm hood which can be adjusted from the front and the back with elastics. The jacket can further be adjusted at the bottom with elastics and at the cuffs with velcro. Branding can be found close to the left front pocket with a metal RLX logo and printed “RLX67/10”, and at the lower right back as a reflective RLX logo. The jacket has a couple of marks e.g. under the chest pocket, on the brim of the hood, and at the right shoulder on the back. The print on the zipper for the arm pocket has unfortunately started to crack. The velcro on the cuffs have become weak with age. The jacket still has a lot of life left and can be a great alternative to a Arc'teryx or Patagonia jacket.
